How it works

Done right the first time

Three steps. You know the price before you come in.

  1. Tell us what you need

Call, text or WhatsApp (945) 232-3445 to book an appointment at Irving, Frisco or Dallas. We confirm the fixed price and the exact list of documents to bring.

  2. We prepare and check everything

Documentation, ICAO-standard photo upload, notarisation, and a full application review before it is filed. This is the step that stops query letters.

  3. We handle FedEx and VFS

We take care of the FedEx and VFS process for you and keep you updated. If a query comes back, we handle that too.

You will always know who handled your documents

Sathish Notary is run by Sathish, a commissioned, bonded and insured Texas notary public. The practice grew out of one thing the Dallas-Fort Worth Indian community kept needing and kept struggling to find: someone who knows exactly what the Indian consulates and VFS Global will accept, and who will check every document before it is filed rather than after it is rejected. That is why the Irving office holds a 4.9 star average across 792 Google reviews. Sathish Notary is not an attorney firm and does not provide legal advice.

Us vs doing it yourself vs a walk-in agent

The government fee is the same wherever you go. The difference is whether your application comes back with a query letter.

The cost of a rejected application

A rejected application costs months, not dollars

  • A photo that fails the spec

The portal wants 630 x 810 to ICAO standard. Phone photos bounce. We shoot it in house.

  • The wrong consulate

Seven consulates, each covering specific states. File to the wrong one and it comes straight back.

  • A document set that almost matches

Missing proof of address, an unattested copy, a name that does not match. We check the set before it is filed.

  • A query letter nobody explains

We read it, work out what is really being asked, and rebuild the set for you.

  • Legal advice from someone unqualified

We are a notary practice, not an attorney firm. When something needs a lawyer, we say so.

Passport, OCI and apostille questions, answered straight

Our service fee for an adult India passport renewal is $89. A minor renewal, a lost or damaged passport renewal, and a passport surrender or renunciation are $99 each. That fee covers documentation, the ICAO-standard photo upload, notarisation and a full application review. Indian government and VFS fees and FedEx charges are separate and are passed through without markup.
A new India OCI for an adult or minor is $119, an OCI renewal at the 20 year or 50 year point is $119, and updating your OCI after you are issued a new US passport is $99. Every OCI service includes the full document set, the ICAO-standard photo, notarisation and a review of the application before it is filed.
Yes. A Texas birth certificate, marriage certificate or divorce decree apostille is $99. Apostille for India company documents is $99 each once you have more than five. We also handle apostille services for documents from all 50 states, and bulk documents carry a 10% to 20% discount. Call for pricing on out-of-state and bulk work.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people come to us. Bring the query letter and your documents to the Irving, Frisco or Dallas office. We read the query, identify the document that caused it, rebuild the set to consulate specification, redo the photo if it is the cause, and re-upload it for you. We do this for OCI, passport and renunciation applications.
Texas falls under the Consulate General of India in Houston. We support all seven Indian consulates in the United States, which are Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC, so we can file to whichever one covers your state of residence.
Always call ahead to book an appointment before you come in. The Irving office is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 7pm. The Frisco office is open Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 6pm, and is closed Sunday. Call, text or WhatsApp (945) 232-3445 to check availability before you travel.
No. Sathish Notary is a commissioned, bonded and insured Texas notary practice. We are not an attorney firm, we are not licensed to practise law in the state of Texas, and we do not provide legal advice or representation. If a matter genuinely needs an attorney, we will tell you.
We accept cash, card, Apple Pay and Zelle. Our service prices are published and fixed. Indian government fees, VFS fees and FedEx shipping are charged separately at cost.
